Kim Kardashian criticized for ‘terrible’ step at Balenciaga show
Kim Kardashian was criticized after debuting as model Balenciaga at Paris Fashion Week. That’s the Mirror report.
Kardashian’s gait on the catwalk seems to leave viewers “stricken and inhibited” – here’s how they react when a video of the brand’s show appears online.
“She’s beautiful but too retarded,” one person wrote. Another wondered, “Are you okay, Kim? You look so scared.” The third replied: “Nice picture, but terrible gait. She walks too stiffly.”
Kim Kardashian made her catwalk debut as a model on July 6 within the framework of Paris Fashion Week. The reality TV star took to the catwalk in a floor-length black dress designed by Demna Gvasalia for Balenciaga’s haute couture collection.
Kidman, pictured under the sun by Balenciaga in Paris earlier this week, wore a metallic silver tiered gown, while Lipa wore a neon yellow mini outfit with a fancy dress.
In addition to Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Dua Lipa and Nicole Kidman.
In a previous post, the French nonprofit Renaissance was auctioning off recycled costumes from the filming of Emily’s second season in Paris. WWD writes about it.
The highest-rated works include the cream-colored dress and chain-print jacket worn on screen by Philippine actress Leroy-Bolier. She acts as the director of the creative agency Sylvie. Her dress and coat during the shoot are estimated at 400-500 euros.
A Sonia Rykiel dress and Yohji Yamamoto pants by Ashley Park, who plays Mindy Chen, Emily’s friend, costs between €150 and €180.
In total, the Renaissance organization offered 76 lots. The auction will take place July 7 at the Drouot department store in Paris and is scheduled to coincide with Fashion Week in the city.
Proceeds from 44 items of clothing, accessories, jewelry and photographs will be used to fund a design education program.
