New Delhi:
Welcome to Barbie land, where everything is pink, vibrant and happy until it’s gone. In the main trailer for Greta Gerwig Barbie doll Movie, Walking, Talking Barbie Margot Robbie gives us a tour of her wonderful world, where everything is picture-perfect – they’re all playing and dancing around. Margot Robbie said: “This is the best day ever. Yesterday too and tomorrow too.” She doesn’t know what life is available to her. One fine day, she realizes that her heels are on the ground (just a matter of Barbie’s soil). Then she’s given a choice – go back to her normal life or know the truth about the universe – she chooses (almost) the former. After much effort, Barbie enters the real world with Ken (Ryan Gosling) by her side.
The real world isn’t what Barbie envisioned it – the stares from everyone, the uncomfortable situations, the punches, the fights, the dramatic chase scenes. In short, it will be a hell of a ride. The producers wrote in the trailer, “If you love Barbie, this movie is for you. If you hate Barbie, this movie is for you.”
