It’s amazing that even my 60s is considered a failure: Virat Kohli

When Fareed Ahmad was bowling for the 19th time in the India-Afghanistan match last night, he didn’t know what would happen today when he could see a ruthless man with a stick. In his second serve, the man did what 1.4 billion people have been waiting for in 1020 days. With those six things, Virat Kohli completed his century, which everyone knows is more than just running. After the match, Virat Kohli also expressed surprise at how even his 60s has been considered his defeat over the past few years.

“Today was the day of the last couple of matches, to be honest, I beat myself, and I surprised myself. What surprised me was that my 60s turned out to be a failure. ; quite a shock to me, playing quite well and contributing but not PTI news agency quoted Mr. Kohli after the win seemed to be enough.

The former India captain played a substantial inning in a ‘not-so-important game’ and broke a 122-match unbeaten streak on just 61 balls. His innings helped India register a record 101 run win over Afghanistan in the Asian Cup minor game.

Before the Asian Cup, Virat was out of action for a month because he knew there was nothing technically wrong with his match.

“I’ve had a lot of suggestions, a lot of advice has come to me; people tell me I made this mistake, that mistake, I picked out all the videos from the best moment I had; same initial movement, same ball approach and it’s just what’s going on in my head that I can’t explain to anyone,” he said.

“At the end of the day, as an individual, you’ll know where you stand, people will have their opinion but they can’t feel what you’re feeling.”

Kohli also expressed that he never expected to achieve century in T20 format.

“The last two and a half years have taught me a lot. In a month I will turn 34. So those angry celebrations are a thing of the past,” Kohli said during halftime.

“Really I was shocked. This was the final format I thought. It was the accumulation of a lot of things. The team was very open and helpful.”

Virat also credit his wife, Anushka Sharma for standing behind her like a rock during difficult times.

“I know there’s a lot going on outside. And I kissed my ring. You see me standing here because one person has put everything in perspective. That’s Anushka. Hundreds of these things. is for her and our little daughter Vamika as well.

After the celebrations from last night’s petty victory, the Indian star and the whole team need to return to the balance sheet to consider what happened in this Asian Cup. Since the T20 World Cup will take place in October, the defeat at this Asiad can also be a source of fire for the players to ignite their passion and play their best in the World Cup.
