IPL Auction 2023: Punjab buys Sam Curran for ₹18.5 cr, Cameron Green for ₹17.5 cr for the Mumbai Indians. Check the details


All-around England international Sam Curran on December 23 emerged as the most expensive purchase in Indian Premier League history and was sold to the Punjab Kings for a hefty sum $18.5 billion.

In addition, British tennis player Harry Brook was sold to SunRisers Hyderabad for $13.25 crore in the latest IPL 2023 auction.

Caribbean hitter Nicholas Pooran was sold to Lucknow Super Giants for $16 billion.

Another great England player Ben Stokes has been sold to Chennai Super Kings for $16.25 cores.

While the comprehensive Australian Cameron Green was bought by the Mumbai Indians for $17.5 cores. South African goalkeeper Heinrich Klaasen was sold to SunRisers Hyderabad for $5.25 cores.

Former West Indies cricket team captain Jason Holder has been acquired by Rajasthan Royals for $5.75 cores.

While, India’s Mayank Agarwal was sold to SunRisers Hyderabad for a huge amount $8.25 cores.

Interestingly, England player Joe Root has a base price of $1 crore, unsold this season. In addition, Adam Zampa of Australia, Akeal Hosein of the West Indies, Adam Milne of New Zealand, Tom Banton of England and Litton Das of Bangladesh failed to sell.

However, the Gujarat Titans bought New Zealand’s Kane Williamson for $2 billion. Also, British cricketer Phil Salt was sold to Delhi Capitals for a similar price.
