Introducing 3rd Dreamliner: Vistara to double Frankfurt and Paris flights from October 30

NEW DELHI: Vistara will double its Frankfurt and Paris flights this winter as the airline has finally decided to charter one Boeing 787. The full-service airline has placed a firm order for six Dreamliners, but Boeing is experiencing problems so it can’t deliver beyond the two B787s Vistara currently operates.
The airline has been planning for months now to lease wide-body aircraft, including long-haul aircraft, so that it can begin direct flights to North America.
“Vistara is about to receive its third Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner The aircraft has been leased recently. Starting October 30, 2022, Vistara will operate six weekly flights between Delhi and Frankfurt, up from the current three weekly flights. Connections between Delhi and Paris increased from twice to five times per week. Sales for these additional flights are open, across all channels,” Vistara said in a statement.
Vistara commercial director Deepak Rajawat said, “Europe has been a focus market for us from the start and we are delighted that our customers appreciate our services on the roads. We’ve been wanting to increase the frequency on these and we’re happy to finally be able to do that.”
The airline, this May, expanded frequencies on several international routes, including Delhi-London and Mumbai-Singapore, to daily flights. Earlier this week, the airline launched services between Mumbai and Jeddah, and Mumbai-Bangkok.
Vistara Dreamliners have business, economy, and economy cabins. The third Dreamliner will also feature fully flat business class seats, each with direct aisle access and a separate premium economy cabin.
