Canadian HockeyThe chairman of her interim board has resigned, effective immediately, on Saturday night the national sports body announced.

“On reflection, it is clear to me from recent events that it no longer makes sense for me to continue volunteering as Interim President or Director of the organization.” Andrea Skinner said in a statement.

Skinner, who was appointed to the position just two months ago, left as uproar grew over Hockey Canada’s handling of sexual abuse allegations.
