the topic given above Booty Kev Podcastwhere Ice Cube stars Too $hort and E-40.
During a sit-down of West Coast legends, they began to discuss Verzuz Memorable battles have taken place during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bootleg Kev went on to ask Cube, who has never performed in the web series, if he would be invited to participate.
In response, Ice Cube confirmed that organizers are likely interested in matches with LL Cool J and Scarface. However, the “It Was a Good Day” rapper ultimately decided against the idea.
“I think they talked about LL at one point. they talked to Scarface at one point. I said no.”
He went on to explain that, instead of confronting like a tradition Verzuzhe would prefer a different approach.
“Verzuz is good, but my concept would be, ‘Yo, I’m a fan. You made this song for me.’ Like, okay, I’ll let LL do my favorite LL songs, and he’ll let me do my favorite Ice Cube songs. And it’s not Verzuzbut that’s love…That would be my concept.”
Cube later shared that, because he respects both LL and Scarface so much, he won’t be able to “go against” them.
“I can’t go against the people I admire. LL is an OG for me in the game, so I can’t see it. Scarface and I love each other, but we don’t communicate enough to be one Verzuz together.”
He concluded his commentary by noting, “I don’t want it to be competition.”
Cube Stays To The Recent Past
Here Verzuz The reveal comes shortly after Ice Cube’s reveal of another issue from the pandemic era.
Like Shade room previously reported, Cube admitted that he lost a $9 million role for refusing to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
Specifically, he initially said that he had “turned down” a role with Jack Black in Oh shit. However, he later confirmed that he was disqualified, as he was adamant he did not receive the “stabbing”.
“Those bastards didn’t give it to me because I wouldn’t get the shot. I did not refuse it. They won’t give it to me. The COVID shot, the shot…I don’t need it. I didn’t grasp that s**t at all. No. F**k them. I don’t need that.”
