Honest review of Haus Labs Skin Tech Foundation

I will preface this review by saying that I am extremely picky when it comes to communication. If you have read any My thoughts on previous platforms we’ve tested here at WWW, you’ll know it’s not always easy for me. For starters, I have delicate, sensitive, and acne-prone skin, so I have to be extra cautious when choosing a product that I will wear on my face all day.

With Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, right from the first swipe is in love. First, I’m glad this recipe is completely hypoallergenic – that’s important to look for if you have one acne skin. Second, I was really surprised by the coverage it provided as it was labeled as a medium coverage foundation. Most medium-coverage foundations offer more sheer layers that you have to build on if you want full coverage, but that’s not the case here. One swipe and my skin looked flawless – I was shaken. I also used Street too much at first. A little bit goes a long way with this recipe, which is a huge plus.

After buffing it out with my Monika Blunder Foundation brush ($38), I was in awe. It blends seamlessly into skin and glides on your face like butter. In addition, the formula is also fortified with highly effective skin care ingredients like fermented arnica to help reduce redness, even out your skin tone and protect from the effects of the environment. It’s also completely weightless – which I appreciate from a foundation when wearing it all day. I tried one so many over the past year, but I can tell you I’ve only really loved three of them — including this one. My other favorites include Rare Beauty Liquid Touch weightless foundation ($29) and Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick ($48). However, I love this formula so much that it has earned the number one spot in my spin.

While I love trying new recipes, once I find something that fits all the boxes, I’m 100% committed. This foundation does the job for me and doesn’t bother my sensitive skin. In the past, I broke down a lot after applying foundation for over eight hours, but after applying this foundation for several days in a row all day, it just didn’t happen. And don’t get me started with the rest of the Haus Labs products I’ve tried. Honestly, I’m not sure how I haven’t tried anything from Gaga’s incredible line before. Bronzer, gouache, highlighter and lip balm are equally impressive. They offer high pigment returns and are also very well positioned on the top of the platform. I also like how versatile these products are. As you can see above, I had so much fun creating this subtle pastel pink look, and I would absolutely wear it during the day to the office or out drinking at night.

Overall, Haus Labs is absolutely one of my new favorite brands. I’ve been a fan of Gaga and her music for many years, but I can tell there’s been a lot of thought, energy, time and effort put into the brand’s newest products. She and her team have really created an impressive and cohesive product line, and honestly, I can’t wait to see what the brand drops next. I will give my suggestion now. Maybe an eyeshadow palette?
