Google launched Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro Smartphones in India. Smartphones with the clearest Android experience and amazing computational photography capabilities include various features like Magic Eraser, Real Tone, Faster Night Sight, Macro Mode, Active Stabilization and Cinematic Blur. Google also claims that smartphone machine learning “turns everyday problems into enjoyable experiences.” But how do these stand up to the iPhone 14? Google Pixel 7 vs. Pixel 7 Pro and iPhone 14: Price in India
The Pixel 7 is priced at Rs 59,999 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant while the Pixel 7 Pro is priced at Rs 84,999 for the single 12GB RAM + 128GB storage variant launched in the country. The smaller variant comes in Obsidian, Lime, and Snow color options, and the larger version comes in Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow color options.
For comparison, iPhone 14 prices in India start at Rs 79,900 for 128GB storage, Rs 89,900 for 256GB and Rs 1,09,900 for 512GB storage. It is offered in Blue, Purple, Midnight, Starlight, and Red color options.
Google Pixel 7 vs. Pixel 7 Pro and iPhone 14: Specifications
Display: Both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have a similar design but the Pixel 7 has a smaller 6.3-inch FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Pro model comes with a 6.7-inch QHD (3,120 x 1,440 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Apple iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display.
Processor: Both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are powered by an upgraded Google Tensor G2 processor. The iPhone 14 is powered by Apple’s last year’s A15 Bionic chipset with a few tweaks in the GPU. Both devices are equipped with the Titan M2 security chip.

Camera: The Pixel 7 is equipped with a 50MP + 12MP dual rear camera setup, while the Pixel 7 Pro has an additional 48MP telephoto camera. Both phones come with features like High-Resolution Zoom, image blur, etc. The 12MP ultra-wide camera can also take macro photos. The phone has a 10.8MP sensor at the front for selfies and video calls.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 has a dual camera setup with a 12MP main camera and another 12MP ultra-wide shooter. It has a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera on the front.
Battery and charger: The Pixel 7 has a smaller 4,335mAh battery compared to the Pixel 7 Pro’s 5,000mAh. Both phones support 30W fast charging and don’t come with a charger in the box. Apple does not disclose the battery capacity of the iPhone 14 but says that the phone supports 18W fast charging, MagSafe wireless charging at 15W, and Qi wireless charging support at 7.5W.
Operating system and other features: Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro run Android 13 while Apple put out iOS 16 from the start. All three phones are IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
