The company announced the launch date of Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro on October 6. Before that, the company teased the launch of the successors of Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro at Google I/O on earlier this year and their next hardware launch event is scheduled to take place in a month during a live event. Another product introduced by the company in May, the Google Pixel Watch, will also debut at the upcoming Made by Google event.
In one notification on the company’s U.S. store on Tuesday, the company revealed that its upcoming Made by Google launch event will take place on October 6. “On October 6, 2022 at 10:00 p.m. KST. a.m. ET [7:30pm IST]We will officially introduce what’s new Google Pixels equipment catalog during a live event,” the landing page says.
The first day disclosure by the company at Google I/O in May, the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be powered by the company’s second-generation Tensor SoCs and will run on the newly launched Android 13. Google says the new chipset will provide users with useful, personalized features for photos, videos, security, and voice recognition.
Meanwhile, the Google Pixel Watch, which is also provocative in May, is also set to debut at the event. This is the first smartwatch designed and built by the company and will merge the company’s software with Fitbit’s health and fitness expertise, according to Google. The smartwatch will work with all Pixel and Android smartphones and will run on the company’s new WearOS experience.
