Gold prices fall by ₹764, silver tumbles ₹1,592 in Delhi

Gold price on Tuesday fell 764 settled in 52,347 per 10 grams in Delhi following weak signals globally, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous session, the price of gold closed at 53,111 per 10 grams.

Silver also fell by 1,592 to 58,277 per kilogram. Precious metals closed at 59,869 per kg in the previous trade.

“Gold prices at MCX saw a lower open reflecting COMEX prices falling overnight,” said Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities) at HDFC Securities.

On the international market, gold is lower at $1,775 ( 1.40.821) per ounce (1 ounce equals 28.35 grams) while silver was flat at $20.13 ( 1,597) per ounce.
