Four Manchester United strikers could sign after Ralf Rangnick’s comments
“Man United need at least two modern strikers to make the squad more quality. Liverpool and Man City have five or six – we don’t have many. The hateful comments from Ralf Rangnick come just hours after his Manchester United side edged out Brentford three games to earn a rare win.

While some skeptics might argue that Ralf Rangnick has been too vocal in his criticism of Manchester United over the past few weeks, little of what the German says is false.
Manchester United currently have only two senior strikers on their roster. One of them is Edinson Cavani, who has spent most of the 2021/22 season through ‘injury’ or unfitness, and is due to leave the club on a free in June.
The next is Cristiano Ronaldo, who can still score regularly, but he is at the twilight stage of his career and is unlikely to stay at Old Trafford beyond 2022/23.

This leaves Manchester United with only Anthony Martial as a somewhat natural central striker option. However, it has clearly been a while written on the wall for the French player in Manchester.
So with the summer approaching, it’s clear United need to invest in at least one centre-back. But who should they be aimed at? Good, 101 have selected four options below.
Victor Osimhen (Napoli)
The first option that Manchester United can target is Victor Osimhen of Napoli.
The 23-year-old has excelled in both Ligue 1 and Serie A, and is one of the best strikers in Europe right now.
Osimhen is a deadly combination of pace, power, height and clinical finishing that has helped him score 17 goals and provide six assists in 29 appearances so far. this.
Such impressive form may seem to come with a hefty price tag, however, over the past few months Napoli will be asking between €80m-100m for the striker – making him perhaps the expensive option. best on this list.
Jonathan David (Lille)
At 22 years old, Jonathan David is the youngest pick on this list, but he has developed into a player capable of extremely dangerous finishing.
While David lacks the height and some of Osimhen’s strength, the Canadian is quick and, most importantly, a two-footed advantageous centre-back, making him a superb finisher.
David has scored 17 goals for Lille this term, with three of them in the Champions League.
Sebastian Haller (Ajax)
While some United fans may have noticed Haller after his tumultuous stint with West Ham, incoming Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has actually been able to get the best out of him. Ivory player since he moved to the Netherlands.
Haller has scored 20 goals and assisted in seven in 28 league games this season. But the most impressive thing about Haller at Ajax is his impressive goalscoring record in the Champions League, scoring 11 goals and assisting two in eight appearances.
Having said that, Haller is not what you would really describe as a ‘modern’ striker, but his scoring record under Ten Hag is certainly enough to give him a chance at Manchester.
Moussa Dembele (Lyon)
Moussa Dembele is the last option that Manchester United could target. The Lyon player is the definition of a modern, fast forward with some excellent finishes.
The 25-year-old has scored 24 goals and assisted seven in all competitions for Lyon this term, and has also proven himself against the best side in England before that.
Dembele came on for the final 15 minutes of Lyon’s Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City in 2020, and scored two goals thanks to City’s ability to get past the defence.
With neither Ronaldo nor Cavani able to do this at the moment, having someone like Dembele on United’s team would give them even more options.
