Ford closes orders for 2022 Broncos in March

If you want to get one 2022 Ford Broncoand maybe it’s already built this year, you’d better get your orders in quick. As share to us by Bronco6G and confirm with us by Fordorders will close for the 2022 model year. Dealers are asking buyers to pick up their orders by March 7 and the deadline for authorized dealer to turn them into Ford is the next day.

According to Ford, demand is already high enough that it needs to close through 2022 orders to fill before starting production of the 2023 models. This also seems to be a step to help ensure that anyone who have orders for 2022 will receive their cars this year. Another step has been taken to discontinue the supply of factory-installed paint protection films with the exception of Wildtrak models. In the event a buyer wants a non-Wildtrak film, Ford will only let them choose a film installed by the dealer.

In addition, Ford has provided some other ordering tips to increase the likelihood of receiving Bronco this early year. Skip drag package and hardtop are both ways to be able to get vans sooner, because the tow pack is in high demand and Ford still puts production constraints first. And as an alternative to the tow pack, dealers can add a tow hook and four-pin socket, though buyers who need a seven-pin socket should stick with the tow pack.

Bronco Raptor Orders will be made after the 2022 model year order deadline. Orders for the 2023 models will also open later this year. Exact dates for the 2023 orders have yet to be announced, as are pricing and official options. And just for reference, those who pre-order the Bronco will be given priority to order the Raptor.
