Rub! A Denver mother recently went viral after she expressed her frustration with her daughter’s stepmother buying her a graduation gown without her knowledge. In the one-minute clip, Enitza Templeton explained that when she showed up at her daughter’s ceremony, her baby girl was wearing a dress she had never seen before. Enitza’s video has received a lot of backlash and we have a clear idea of what really went down!
Despite many people’s perception of the situation, Enitza told The Shade Room that she bought her daughter a graduation dress, but said her daughter had accidentally left the dress at home when she was to her father’s house before the ceremony. Enitza claims that instead of contacting her about the outfit, the ex-husband’s girlfriend took her daughter shopping for a new set.
Is this overkill? The stepmother received her daughter a graduation gown the day before the event. The stepmother said that the lil girl asked and she took her away. pic.twitter.com/H4UEiAIFsf

According to Enitza, her relationship with her daughter’s stepmother Luz was a disturbing one. In fact, Enitza claims that she has never met the woman, despite inviting her to family gatherings and holidays, and sending her gifts. The mother-of-four told us she only posted the video because Lisa was “beyond her place a few times” and her problem was “being left out of a special moment” with her daughter . She even alleges that she once had to call the police to take her kids from Lisa’s care.
“When my ex was arrested for stalking me and the children in his custody, she refused to give me the baby and I had to call the police. This woman has exceeded her position a few times and I have surpassed it.”
As for Joe, Enitza’s ex-husband, she said he was unable to attend their daughter’s graduation due to an trespassing order banning him from the school grounds. In addition, Enitza alleges Joe is under investigation by CPS and has caused their children to be truant by not sending them to school.
“I am actively trying to parent my ex and his partner. I invite them to every holiday or party we’re having so the kids can have the best. They always refuse. He is being actively investigated by child protective services for a number of issues and our kids are currently truant because he refuses to send them to school.”
Joe Templeton has not responded to our request for a statement at this time.
