Episode 494 – John Dean June 16, 2022
John Dean, a former adviser to President Richard Nixon, was directly involved in the cover-up of the Watergate break-in. But he is also credited with knocking Nixon down, thanks to his key testimony before the Senate committee investigating the scandal. To celebrate Watergate’s 50th anniversary, John joined David in talking about his professional journey that got him into the White House at the age of 31, his involvement in Watergate, the similarities between Nixon and Donald Trump, his interest in the Republican Party today, and his work on CNN’s “Watergate: Blueprint for a Scandal.”
