BALTIMORE (WJZ) – A Dundalk High School teacher is accused of assaulting two freshmen, authorities said on Thursday.
Andrew Lawrence Rader, 30, of Baltimore, was arrested Wednesday on assault charges related to the charges, Baltimore County Sheriff’s Department said.

30 years old has been sitting in art high school. The school said he was hired last August, but was “immediately expelled from the school and placed on administrative leave” after management learned of the alleged conduct in April.
Rader was arrested on order to charge him with two counts of second-degree assault. Court records show the 30-year-old was released after signing a $3,500 fine.
According to incriminating documents obtained by WJZ, Rader suffocated a student at least 10 times. The student told police the act started out cheerfully and became more aggressive over time.
The student’s mother called police after a video went viral showing a teacher strangling the student in April.
“This makes me very uncomfortable,” Emma Castro, the mother of another freshman at the school, told WJZ. “It’s been hard work and I realize that, I mean I have four kids, do you think sometimes I want to lock them in my head? Yes, but I don’t do that! You can’t do the same to someone else’s child.”

If the victim were her son, Castro said: “I could have gone to that school in a split second, and I would have given that gentleman a hard time. It’s terrible “.
A second student said Rader was repeatedly pushed against their back to find “pressure points,” according to charging documents.

Baltimore County Schools said in a statement that it fully cooperates with police in their investigation.
“These allegations are deeply troubling and violate the core values of our schools and school system,” said Principal Paul Satterfield. “This behavior does not reflect the principles of BCPS or our community and it will not be tolerated.”
WJZ contacted Rader’s attorney but did not receive an immediate response.
