Miura and producer Elpis Ayumi Sano (My old lover, Quartet) will present its premiere screening at the Cannes Grand Auditorium on Tuesday, October 18 and participate in a Q&A session after the screening.
In the film, Miura plays Cherry, an entertainer specializing in the television market, who participates in an investigation into the wrongful death sentences that expose a statewide conspiracy and cover-up. Inspired by real events, the film also stars Masami Nagasawa, Gordon Maeda and Ryohei Suzuki.
Commercial network Kansai TV production Elpis and will present the series at MIPCOM together with the organizers of MipcomRX France. The series will be the first Asian World Premiere at MIPCOM since the coronavirus pandemic.
