Have you ever dreamed of living like a country music icon while touring the world? Imagine you are living in a luxury bus as you stop in different cities, states and countries, is the dream. Now, you can pretend to do it by spend a few nights on Dolly Parton’s old tour bus at her Dollywood resort in Tennessee.
Country music legend, theme park owner, philanthropist and allbrilliant person retired the classic tour bus that she used on the road for 14 years. The current, Paper magazine report that it has begun a new contract of life as a Tennessee Mountain House at Parton’s Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
According to Paper:
“The iconic bus – on which Parton wrote albums like 9 to 5: Musical and Backwoods Barbie – used from 2008 to 2022. It was seen more than 360,000 miles on it as she roamed North America, including over 60 cities in the US and Canada on the Pure & Simple Tour in 2016. ”
To the back is a small kitchen with a fridge and dining area perfect for sipping Applejack. Going further back you’ll find a small bathroom and various wardrobes containing Dolly Parton memorabilia – including the singer’s outfits Rockin ‘Years such as her classic dress and shoes.
There are also some bunk beds where her band will sleep, a shower and tub, and extra storage for you to keep. Multicolored coats.
In the back is where you will find the bedroom that you will sleep in during your stay. As you can see from this video tour from Adventure is Out There, the bedroom is as vibrant and vibrant as you’d expect from Dolly Parton, with bright colours, Silver thread and gold needle cover most of the wall. It looks amazing and 100 times sexier than any bus I’ve ever been on.
