‘Doctor Strange’ actress accused of child molestation
The ‘Doctor Strange’ actress was accused of sexually abusing children. British actress, stuntman and martial artist Zara Phythian has been at the center of a scandal. A 36-year-old woman and her husband, Victor Marke, are accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
A jury at Nottingham Crown Court heard the case of veteran boxer Zara Phythian, better known as Zara Marke, who starred in the 2016 Marvel Studios film Dr. Strange.
The Daily Mail, citing prosecutors, reported that the crime took place between 2005 and 2008. Then Phythian and Marke worked as martial arts instructors. Prosecutors believe the man used his official position “for sexual gratification”, and that his wife was part of the process.
The unnamed girl said that at the age of 13, the coaches gave her rum, then they forced her to have sex and film everything on camera.
A total of 14 criminal cases appeared in the case. And the actress’ husband, Victor Marke, has been charged with four more cases of sexually abusing an underage girl. The crimes were committed between 2002 and 2003.
The actress and her husband denied all allegations. The trial will continue.
Therefore, two days later, the police made a video recording of his accusations. The victim, who could not be identified due to the core of the charges, determined that it was her duty to disclose to police the work she was doing.
Zara Phythian became widely known after she appeared in the 2016 superhero action film Doctor Strange alongside Benedict Cumberbatch. The actress played one of the zealots – apostates at the behest of the witches on Earth. Among her other works are the films “Excursion,” “Warrior Girl,” “Sector 17,” “Tribe: Get Out Alive,” and others.
