He added that the government will proceed with renting to families who do not qualify for rehabilitation.

Fadnavis, Deputy Premier of Maharashtra said that while implementing the Dharavi Redevelopment Plan, the economic contribution of the region to Mumbai and Maharashtra must be kept in mind.

“This is why we have created an industrial and business park. And the benefit of the industrial and business park is that it will have a common facility center. They will have more space than what they have. yes with improved conditions,” he said.

On the matter of goods and services tax (GST), he said the tax will be exempted for five years, adding that the state government will consider whether renovated buildings can be free of maintenance. .

Regarding religious sites, deputy CM said legal structures will be protected.
