Delhi: Wife kills husband with mistress, 2 associates arrested in 2021 murder case
Bhajanpura police in Delhi have arrested two people, with a reward of Rs 50,000, for allegedly conspiring with a woman and her lover to kill her husband in 2021. Two more people are involved in the crime. The offender was detained by the police.
The deceased was identified as Arvind Kumar (27 years old), resident of Bhajanpura, missing on October 13, 2021 and all efforts to trace the victim’s whereabouts were in vain.
On October 16, 2021, the victim’s wife filed a complaint with the police that her husband had left his hometown in Bihar but could not get there. The victim’s body was later recovered by Faridabad police in Haryana near the Eastern Peripheral Highway in Haryana.
On March 27 this year, Bhajanpura police received information from Gandhi Nagar police station in Delhi that a man identified as Shokeen had been arrested along with a woman in a murder case. Defendant confessed that he murdered Arvind Kumar, a resident of Bhajanpura, in October 2021 in relation to his wife.
Upon verification, information about the disappearance was registered on October 16, 2021. The deceased person’s wife filed a complaint in this case, a police investigation revealed.
VU, lover killed her husband
Bhajanpura police have collected the remains of both the accused and started the investigation into the matter. During further questioning, Shokeen told police that he had an illicit relationship with the victim’s wife. Both hatched a plot and on October 13, 2021, Shokeen took Arvind for a ride and murdered him along with two of his associates in Faridabad.
The victim’s wife also confessed to being involved in her husband’s murder and further revealed that she had made up a story and filed a complaint about her husband’s disappearance. After filing a missing person complaint, she left the place and began living with her children in Patna. After a month, she went to Ghaziabad to live with Shokeen.
TWO EXACTLY ORDERED
Two other Shokeen associates, on the run, were arrested by the Police on June 15, 2022. The defendant evaded police arrest by changing their locations and the court issued an order not openly against them.
The Delhi Police Commissioner also announced a bonus of Rs 50,000. Acting quickly, a squad of police arrested them in front of the Transportation Authority, Loni Road.
Police have identified the suspects as Parvinder (29 years old) and Gaurav (26 years old). Police also recovered a pistol and six cartridges of live ammunition from the suspect’s possession. A case under the Firearms Act and other relevant sections of the IPC has been filed against the accused and a further investigation is underway.
