Dead Island 2 has been delayed to April.
Originally slated to launch on February 3, this upcoming zombie game will now arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 28. That’s a delay of approx. 12 weeks, not too long considering the fans. waited almost a decade for this sequel. As for why developer Dambuster Studios and publisher Deep Silver delayed Dead Island 2, the team wanted more time to make sure the game was the best it could be at launch.
Here is the full statement of the delay:
“We have some important news to share, so let’s address that immediately. We’re delaying Dead Island 2 – the new release date will be April 28, 2023. doesn’t lose the irony of the Dead Island delay, and we’re sure as well as you are disappointed.The delay was only a short 12 weeks and development is in its final stages right now: us will take the time necessary to ensure that we can launch a game we are proud to launch.For those of you who have been waiting for years, thank you for being there with us.
“In the meantime, we’ll be releasing an exciting new trailer and gameplay at the Dead Island 2 rollout which will launch on December 6th on our Twitch and YouTube channels as well as on our website. Dead Island’s web site.”
