Dauntless Developer Phoneix Labs has announced a new title that is, needless to say, significantly different from its monster-slaying RPG title. Fae Farm is a cozy life simulation that transports players to a world of magic and wonder where you will bend your green thumb as a farming savior.
As the name suggests, much of the experience involves running the farm as an adventurer and newcomer to a community in the land of Azoria. While you will work to bring peace to this troubled land, you will also return and leisurely explore different environments, gather resources, and build houses. Fae Farm was built with cooperation in mind. The title features drop-in/drop-out co-op, both locally and online, allowing players to farm and quest together.
Creative director Katie De Sousa said: “With Fae Farm, we wanted to take the beloved elements of the sim genre we love, infuse them with magic and beautiful artistry, and encapsulate everything. things in a lightweight collaborative experience,” said creative director Katie De Sousa in a press release. “I can’t wait to see what cozy inns are built by the users in Azoria.”
Fae Farm is slated to release in Q2 of 2023 exclusively for the Switch.
