Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: Special Ops Assault
The Special Ops missions in the game will feature new content called Raids, which is a co-op mode that will release a few weeks after the game’s launch. Activision has confirmed that the “first episode of the Raids” will begin with the Relay Part 1 patch which will be released on December 14. The patch will also include a “legendary multiplayer map” and First major update for Warzone 2.0.
The game’s publisher described Raids as “a whole new experience for the franchise”. These raids will be three-player co-op missions that will involve both intense combat and strategic thinking. However, a pre-season period after the game’s release will be available for players to progress through the Special Activity level system and level up to unlock weapons, attachments, and other items.
Special Activity: First Release
Initially, Special Ops will have three missions and all of them will take place in Al Mazrahalso the main area for Warzone 2.0.
The first three missions will be – Bad Situation, Exit the vehicle and Defensive Observatory. Bad Situation is a stealth mission while the Escape Vehicle will have a kill and purge target. Meanwhile, in Defensive observatoryThe player will have to defend a location from waves of enemies.
In addition, players will also have access to a Backpack to store equipment and one of three Kits – Attack Kit, Medic, and Engineer. Assualt Kits Increases armor resistance and Booster Kit for faster respawn, while Toolkit focuses on better gear usage.
Trigger mentioned that these Kits can be leveled up by earning Stars through missions, and all three starter missions will be replayable. The game’s creators also recommend that players complete all three Special missions with three stars and have at least one Level Up Set to Rank 5 before the Raids release in December.
