Design of Cadillac Project GTP Hypercar will be revealed in full on June 9, but in the meantime, Cadillac has a trailer for us.
You’re looking at the front end of a race car set up to compete in Worlds Endurance Championship’s (WEC) new GTP Hypercar class. It’s a corner of the car that we can’t see in the previous trailersAnd it caught our attention. The big divider at the front looks like it’s made of some pretty nice stuff carbon fiberand the bodywork itself appears to have been given a matte finish. Classic Cadillac-style upright headlights are seen at the front corner rim and the fender looks like it has a fang protruding from it towards the cabin. There is more carbon fiber material on the small roof. And finally, we’ll show the Cadillac crest is a bit minimal and flat on the front, finished in white.
We’re certainly intrigued to see the rest of the Cadillac Hypercar now, like previous render description a very nice race car – it was better than any DPi car ever raced by Cadillac. We’ll need to wait until June 9 to see the full car, so let’s reschedule that date to see what Cadillac has in store for us.
