Bill Cosby reveals he’s considering plans for his 2023 comedy tour
Look same Cosby’s Invoice ready to rejoin the comedy circuit. On Wednesday, he hosted WGH Say “yes” when asked if he plans to tour again in 2023.
“Yes. Yes. because it’s a lot of fun when I tell this story,” Cosby said.
The 85-year-old was found guilty of criminal sexual assault in April 2018. The Penslyvannia Supreme Court later overturned the conviction in 2021. In June, he shared an Instagram post. one year anniversary of release from prison.
“After two years and 10 months of fighting for life and truth, a year of freedom at home with my family seems good to me (at least that’s what my wife says,” Bill wrote.
However, the allegations of assault stand. In early December, five women filed lawsuits against Bill Cosby and NBC. Filing in New York, four women say Cosby coerced sexual acts or raped them between the 1980s and 1990s. While a fifth woman said Cosby had raped her in 1969. Comedian Andrew Wyatt’s agent called the lawsuit “frivolous.”
Wyatt also confirmed Diversity that the former actor’s tour plan was legitimate. He said that Cosby is “look at spring/summer to start the tour.”
The tour could also be in response to the $500,000 in damages that Cosby owes Judy Huth. Judy won a civil lawsuit against Bill in June, in which she accused him of sexually assaulting her as a 16-year-old in 1975.
At the time of the ruling, Wyatt said Huth “will never receive a day’s pay from Mr. Cosby.” He also claimed that Huth owed her legal team more than $3 million, which Judy’s attorney, Gloria Allred, later denied.
“Mr. A spokesperson for Cosby appears to be trying to win over Mr. Cosby’s substantial defeat. Ms. Huth has no legal bill of fees with my law firm.”
