A lawsuit has been registered against Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC), five officials of the company and two from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) related to the collapse of a subway pole under construction. build.

Namma subway and Karnataka government announced compensation of $20 lakh per affected family. Speaking to reporters in Dharwad, Minister Basavaraj Bommai assured an investigation into the incident and announced compensation for the bereaved. “I just found out, we will investigate … we will determine the cause of the column collapse and compensate,” he said.

He called the incident “regrettable” and said an investigation would be carried out and the case would be registered against those responsible.
