Ashok Gehlot criticized Amit Shah for his “CBI pressure” comments

Rajasthan Minister and Parliamentary Leader Ashok Gehlot challenged Home Secretary Amit Shah to name officials of a central agency that the BJP leader accused of pressuring him to frame his party colleagues. himself and then Gujarat Minister Narendra Modi in a mock meeting.
Mr. Gehlot said if Delhi Police could ask Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to provide details on women in Jammu and Kashmir accused of sexual harassment, then those same policemen certainly could. asked Mr. Shah to provide the names of officers who wanted him to trap Narendra Modi before he became Prime Minister in 2014.
In the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Mr Gandhi accused “women are still being sexually assaulted” in Union Territories. After the yatra was over and 45 days later, a team of Delhi Police knocked on Mr. Gandhi’s door three times in five days, in what Congress called unprecedented harassment. Congress accused the police of not doing any such thing if BJP leaders made controversial comments at public events.
“What did the women say to Rahul Gandhi in Kashmir? That they were abused, harassed. And what happened after – Delhi police arrive at Rahul Gandhi’s door. Rahul says he will pay for it. the police report, but the police came. his house,” Mr. Gehlot told NDTV.
“So Delhi police will also send notice to Amit Shah saying that CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) is pressuring him to frame Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a fake meeting in Gujarat when he is being questioned by that is why i asked, will Delhi police question Amit Shah like they interrogated Rahul Gandhi? I think they should,” Mr. Gehlot said.
Mr. Shah yesterday at the ‘News 18 Rising India’ program accused the CBI of having put pressure on him to trap Prime Minister Modi in a mock meeting in Gujarat while the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) was in power. The Home Secretary is responding to a question about opposition allegations that central agencies are regularly sent to harass them with false cases.
Mr Shah said: “CBI pressured me to trap Modi ji (when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat) in a fake meeting in the congressional administration.
The BJP also often cites allegations of abuse of central authorities when Congress is in power.
