Apple may delay external mini-LED displays to early 2023: What will happen

Apple return to the external display market with the release Pro Display XDR in 2019. The Cupertino-based tech giant followed it up with Studio Screen, was released earlier this year. The company is also rumored to offer another 27-inch mini external LED display, which was originally supposed to be released in the summer of 2022. However, that was not accurate and Apple is then expected to do so. revealed the new screen in October, which also did not happen. Now, industry analysts show Ross Young said that the 27 inch mini LED external display will launch in the first quarter of 2023 while responding to a tweet by one of his followers.

The difference between Apple’s Pro Display XDR and the 27-inch mini LED external display remains a mystery. The upcoming external display is expected to be more expensive than the Pro Display XDR.

The Studio Monitor offers 5K resolution and starts at Rs 1,59,900 while the Pro Display XDR supports 6K resolution and is available at Rs 4,49,900.
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the tech giant has delayed the mini-LED external display to 2023 due to “concerns about high costs,” 9to5Mac reports. Apart from this, Mac PCs also suffered from shipping delays due to cost and supply chain issues.
The report also mentions that the upcoming mini LED display is rumored to feature a 7K panel, a higher resolution than what the Pro Display XDR offers.

For reference, Studio Display adds an A13 chip for on-device computing while Pro Display XDR offers 6K resolution and extreme brightness.
