Amazon Studios announces romantic comedy-drama ‘Harlem’ has been renewed for a second season!
Roommate, if you are among the millions of people who have already streamed and love the Amazon Prime original series ‘Harlem’, you are about to be very happy. It has just been confirmed that the romantic comedy drama starring Meagan Good has officially been renewed for a second season.
Launching on Amazon Prime’s video streaming service in December, ‘Harlem’ was an instant hit with fans. The film currently has a 95% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes and award nominations from the NAACP and GLAAD Award. Set in Harlem’s Black mecca, this series stars Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Jerrie Johnson, and Shoniqua Shondai.
Speaking about the show being refreshed, ‘Harlem’ creator and writer Tracy Oliver was delighted by the news. “When I walked into a bar in Harlem and overheard people talking excitedly about the show, I knew we were a hit. ‘Harlem’ has resonated with so many people and I’m incredibly grateful to Amazon for giving it a second season. Most of all, I’m excited to be reunited with the beautiful cast.”
Harlem ended the freshman season with a serious twist, and now fans can see what happens next.
Currently, there is no word on when filming for the second season will begin or an expected release date.
