Aiims Revises Charge Of Pvt Rooms, Abolishes Investigation Charges Upto ₹300
The All India Institute of Health Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi has revised its own room rental fees, said an official order. This will be an application effective June 1.
According to the revised version, the ‘A’ class deluxe room will cost 6,000 rooms of class ‘B’ 3,000. Besides, academy abolished the current maximum price user fees 300 for proceedings/inquiry. Mint first reported the story on April 19, last month.
“10 days advance patient deposit for Class A / Deluxe Room will be 63,000 / – and for a ‘B’ / regular class room it will be 33,000/. The revised fees will apply as of June 1, 2022. This matter requires approval from the Director of AIIMS”, the official order given by Dr. DK Sharma, Medical Director at AIIMS was reviewed by the Mint.
The decision was first discussed at the Standing Finance Committee held last month to revise room rates. AIIMS is known for the high standard of treatment and care it provides to patients, including some of India’s poorest.
