KABUL: Ace spinner Rashid Khan Monday, named in Afghanistan’s strong squad for a five-match international series against Twenty20 in Ireland starting next week.
The 23-year-old was a key to Afghanistan in Ireland as well as at the Asian Cup (August-September) in the United Arab Emirates and the Twenty20 World Cup (October-November) in Australia.
Rashid scored four times in Afghanistan’s 3-0 win over Zimbabwe in June this year and will be part of the team despite his commitments at The Hundred in England, which also starts this week.
