Babil, son of Irrfan Khanwho made his Bollywood debut with the movie Qala, dropped his first post in 2023, and it was about his father. He shared an adorable flashback on his Instagram handle, featuring his parents, Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar, and his younger brother Ayaan. Along with a photo, he shared a sweet note in tribute to the actor. This post was posted three days before the late veteran actor’s birthday. Babil wrote: “2023: Happy new year aap sabh (to all of you). 3 days to baba’s birthday. Let’s polish ourselves. Let’s stop, reflect and realize ourselves. Let us understand the void that has created the walls between you and me, allow me to love you and let us unite.”
Babil Khan ended his note with these words, “Let’s come together this year. Let’s be one big family.” Shortly after he shared the post, Mithun Chakraborty’s son Namashi commented, “Baba must be so proud of your @babil.ik for your successful debut and tremendous hard work.” followed by a heart emoji.

Irrfan Khan’s birthday anniversary is on January 7th. He passed away in April 2020 after battling neuroendocrine tumor for two years.
Back with Babil Khan, he first appeared alongside Triptii Dimri in Qala. The actor received countless praises from the audience and critics for his performance in the film. During the promotion of the film, he revealed that during filming, he faced a lot of pressure and it used to “affect and scare him”. There is a lot of pressure. Two years ago, when we were filming, there was also pressure. It will affect me, it will scare me, but now it motivates me to do better. The definition of pressure has now changed,” according to PTI news agency.
