JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Jonesboro Police say a 15-year-old man is in custody following a fatal shooting Monday night.
Shortly after 9 p.m. on April 18, officers arrived at a house in the 1500 block of French Street, where they found a 17-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the chest.
An ambulance took the victim to a local hospital, where he later died.
According to a third newsletter from Jonesboro . Police DepartmentOfficers began searching for the 15-year-old suspect.
Around 2 a.m. on April 19, he turned himself in at the police station on Caraway Road.
JPD did not release the name of the victim or the shooter.
According to initial incident reports, the suspect faces charges of first-degree murder and violation of juvenile probation.
